We booked this apartment as a base for our wedding in Asos, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The rooms were spotless and cleaned regularly. We felt really looked after by Kiki, she even made us bomboniers, a traditional Greek gift, for our wedding day! It was a great base to explore the whole island and in our opinion, the nicest place to stay in kefalonia.
Been coming here for years now. Always given a warm welcome. Excellent location. Owners are lovely. Provided with everything we need. Clean and well equipped. Just booked to return next summer. Can’t wait!
We have just recently stopped at the Myrto and it was like home from home. The owners supplied everything we needed, we had water in the fridge when we arrived, there was washing up liquid, hand soap, tea towel, toaster, kettle, iron, hair dryer, coffee maker, sandwich maker and even an umbrella for the balcony. It was a lovely comfortable stay. We would definitely stay there again.
Absolutely fantastic place. Basic, but spotless. Lovely apartment number five on the top floor at the rear, with lovely views of the hills & mountains. Very peaceful, but only a short walk to shops, restaurants & beaches. Kiki, is lovely, & keeps the place immaculate. You feel very safe here, really relaxing. Will definitely return, but not for a couple of years or so.
We visited the Myrto apartments again this year. The owners are friendly and approachable but give you space to enjoy your own ‘greek experience’ . These apartments are set in the best location at the most picturesque end of the town with stunning sea views if you have an upper floor room. The lower floor studio rooms are spacious and clean and you can glimpse the sea through the jasmine fencing. Cooking facilities and electrics are a little rustic but very serviceable. My family thoroughly enjoyed our second visit and would wholeheartedly recommend the ‘Myrto’ Apartments as a perfect base for your Kefalonia experience.
